Scholarship Value/Inclusions/Duration:
The scholarship covers full tuition fees, living expenses of SEK 12,000 per month, insurance, and a one-time travel grant of SEK 10,000-15,000 (applicable for scholarship holders residing outside Sweden).
This support is tailored for full-time one-year or two-year master’s programs, commencing in the autumn semester. Please note that it doesn’t include additional grants for family members and doesn’t cover the application fee to University Admissions.
Eligibility For Swedish Institute Scholarships
To qualify for SISGP, applicants must meet specific criteria:
- Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of a country eligible for SI scholarships (refer to the list above). Residency in the country at the time of application is not mandatory.
- Program Eligibility: The master’s programs chosen for application must be eligible for SI scholarships. The university prioritizes programs within specific subject areas based on the applicant’s country of citizenship.
- Work Experience: Demonstrated work experience is required, with specific conditions applicable to certain regions. Additionally, applicants should showcase leadership experience from their current or previous employment or civil society engagement.
- Tuition Fees: Applicants must be responsible for paying tuition fees to Swedish universities. They should have completed the necessary steps in University Admissions, paid the application fee on time, and received admission (or conditional admission) to one of the eligible master’s programs by March 21, 2024.
